Description
The mini triple strength wound salve is just as great as the regular sized one but fits better in a pocket or a purse. This triple infused wound salve is made with an organic olive oil base, bees wax and a blend of healing herbs. Infusing the oil three times with new herbs makes this salve extra healing and soothing. It’s great for minor abrasions, cuts, and burns. It has antibacterial properties and helps to soften and heal skin. I use it on my eczema patches where it’s gotten raw from itching. It reduces the itch and heals the raw patches more quickly.
Main Actions of Mini Triple Strength Wound Salve:
- Promotes new skin cell growth for faster healing
- Antibacterial and antiseptic, prevents infection
- Emollient, softens skin promoting healing
- Reduces inflammation and itching
Triple strength wound salve is great for use on:
- Minor cuts and abrasions
- Minor burns
- Insect bites
- Eczema patches
- Rashes (not recommended for poison oak or ivy)
The first thing you need to do with any cut or abrasion is to clean it with fresh water and then pat it dry. If the wound is bleeding a lot you can apply some salve to the pad of a band aid and cover the wound until the bleeding has stopped, then remove the band aid and apply salve directly to the wound. Continue to do this a few times a day for one or two days until the wound begins to heal. When treating a minor burn, the first thing you need to do is apply ice for five or ten minutes to cool it down. Next apply several coatings of fresh aloe leaf juice to the burn. If you don’t have an aloe plant, get one, but not until you’ve taken care of this burn! Now you can apply a generous coating of triple strength wound salve.
Ingredients: Olea europaea (Olive) Fruit Oil (organic), Calendula officinalis (Calendula) Flowers, Symphytum Officinale (Comfrey) Leaf, Plantago Lanceolata (Plantain) Leaf, Thymus Vulgaris (Thyme) Leaf, Urtica dioica (Stinging Nettles) Leaf, Cera Alba (Beeswax).
Warning: if you have a cut that’s deep enough it needs stitches – don’t use the wound salve until the deeper part of the cut has healed closed. Also, you should probably get stitches. Only use this salve for bad burns if your doc has approved the use of topical treatments. Also, don’t try to fix a broken leg with it. Won’t work.
