Anointing Oil is the essential oil blend I developed for the Embalming Cream combining Frankincense, myrrh, and sandalwood. Each of the oils in this blend are both precious and sacred, healing and spiritual. The essential oils are added to a base of jojoba oil so that you get a great burst of scent when you apply it but it’s gentle on your skin.

Aromatherapy Benefits of Anointing Oil

In addition to the great things they do for skin, the aroma of all three oils in this blend may increase your sense of well being. Frankincense is soothing, calming, and uplifting. Myrrh is both stimulating and emotionally strengthening. Sandalwood (my personal favorite of the three) is both an aphrodisiac and an antidepressant.
